Our Story
Ardent Equestrian is a small family oriented full service equestrian facility located in Western Loudoun County. We have ponies and horses that are suitable for all levels of riders for ages 3 and up. We provide an intimate setting for children and adults to share their love of horses and advance their riding proficiency.
Our facility includes a 60' x 140' indoor arena to provide horseback riding lessons rain or shine throughout the year. ARDENT EQUESTRIAN INSTRUCTOR SPOTLIGHT
Adrienne Mitchell
Adrienne caught the horse bug at age two and was riding at five years of age. Horses became her lifelong passion! She grew up riding and showing in hunters and dabbled in different equine sports through college.
Adrienne brought this passion to school and earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Equine Facilitated Therapeutics, and Equine Management from Wilson College. She has been a professional instructor since 2011.
Adrienne offers riding lessons to all ages from 3 yrs. to adult seniors and will customize the lesson plan to the individual needs and goals of each client. She also specializes in therapeutic riding lessons for children and adults with cognitive, physical and emotional disabilities.
She has coached multiple show teams in hunters, jumpers, dressage and eventing and offers an IEA program for high schoolers.
Adrienne lives in Lovettsville with her husband Danny and their daughter Alanna.
